1. Free Service

Ideal for: Travelers who know exactly what they want and need professional booking assistance.

Included Services:

How to Work with a Travel Advisor At The TravelSmith Travel Agency

1. Submit an Inquiry

  • Fill out the inquiry form.

2. Schedule a Free Discovery Call

  • The TravelSmith will email you a calendar link to book a complimentary call.

  • During the call, you’ll discuss your trip and choose a service:

    • Free Planning Service (no cost)

    • Custom Itinerary (requires a non-refundable planning fee)

3. Sign the Client Agreement

  • After the call, you’ll receive an email with a recap and a Client Agreement to sign.

  • If you choose the Concierge Service, you’ll also get an invoice to pay.

  • Important: The TravelSmith won’t start researching your trip until the agreement is signed (and the fee is paid, if applicable).

4. Receive Your Proposal

  • The TravelSmith will send a customized travel proposal within 5–10 business days (or let you know if it’ll take longer).

5. Approve or Request Changes

  • Review the proposal and either approve it or ask for adjustments.

6. Reservation Hold & Deposit

  • The TravelSmith will place a hold on your booking (if possible).

  • You’ll need to approve the hold and provide payment details for the deposit.

    • Note: Holds may expire the same day by 10 PM Eastern.

7. Booking Confirmation

  • Once your deposit is processed, you’ll receive a booking confirmation and receipt.

8. Pre-Trip Support

  • You’ll get reminders about:

    • Excursions

    • Entry requirements

    • Payment deadlines

9. Final Payment

  • Due dates vary based on your trip—The TravelSmith will keep you updated.

10. Receive Travel Documents

  • You’ll get all necessary documents (itinerary, vouchers, etc.) plus fun destination facts.

11. Check-In During Your Trip

  • The TravelSmith will email you on your first day to ensure everything is going well.

12. Welcome Home!

  • Time to start planning your next adventure!
